Prince/Printz Family History

Johann Philipp Brentz came to American on the ship Brothers in 1751 (see picture of passenger list in Family Pictures).  Johann and first wife Maria Painter had several children including Regina Margaretta (1732-1732), Anna Maria (1737-?), Johann Philip Brentz (1739-1806, American Revolutionary War veteran), Johann George Brentz (1742-1834, an American Revolutionary War veteran), and twins Adam and Jacob who died as infants (1748-1748).

With his second wife, Anna Maria Schwenzer, Johann Philipp Brentz had several children, including Juliana Maretha (1750-1750), Gottlieb Printz (1752-1806 - Revolutionary War Veteran also known as Godlove Printz or Cutlip Printz), Gottfried Printz (1754-1840, Revolutionary War Veteran who served as a Captain in the Virginia Militia and was also known as Captain George Printz), Magdalena (1755-1807), and Barbara (dates unknown).
